Dr. Jimin Liang received the B.S. in 1992, M.S. in 1995 and Ph.D in 1999 from Xidian University, all majored in electrical engineering. He joined the Xidian University in 1995, where he is currently a professor in the Life Science Research Center, School of Electronic Engineering. In 2002, he was a research associate professor at the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, University of Tennessee, Knoxville, USA. He is currently the executive director of the Life Science Research Center.

My current research interests focus on image processing, biometric recognition and biometric encryption. My research used to focus on multi-sensor information fusion.  Please visit the Research page for more details and my recent publications.

Every year, in the sprint semester, I teach Digital Image Processing for the junior students in the School of Electronic Engineering, Xidian University.
